About The Event

AA SLOGANS AND SAYINGS WORKSHOP

What’s happening?  This will be an interactive, general participation Workshop focusing on the twelve AA slogans we commonly use (see below), and looking at a broad sample of AA sayings from a choice of hundreds.

Where?  Parramatta on the North side, 250 metres from the river. The venue’s address is 8 Victoria Road Parramatta, on the corner of Villiers Street opp. St Patrick’s Cathedral and the big park. It’s a block West of Church Street where Maccas is. The building is called ‘Information & Cultural Exchange’.

When?   Sunday 2 October in the middle of the Long Weekend.

What time?  Beware! That Sunday is the start of Daylight Savings. There will be a pre-Workshop ‘Coffee Kick-Off’ from 9:30am, which will seem just like 8:30am if you haven’t changed over to Daylight Savings yet.

When will it start and finish?   The Workshop starts at 10:00am with an AA ‘Fun Quiz’, but the Workshop proper commences at 10:30am. There’s a Lunch Break in the middle and a coffee break. The Workshop should wrap up at 4:30pm or a bit earlier.

Travelling and parking?   Public transport close to the door by bus. Trains and RiverCat Ferry to Parramatta. Free nearby street parking and a convenient parking station.

Food and more?   Light lunches on sale in the Workshop, plus yummy street eats.

Cost? Donations of $20 or more most appreciated. AA literature for sale.

Organised by AA NSW Service Council (Incorporated)     The birthplace of AA in Australia
